21 Mar 2009The Rancho RS999705 myRIDE tuning system is the latest innovation in automated shock control. It works seemlessly with Rancho RS9000XL and quickLIFT shocks. Why is it called myRIDE? Because it puts you in control of your ride.
The RS999705 is a hand-held device comparable in size to an automatic garage door opener, and the ride-control it gives over of your vehicle is amazing.
At the push of a button, all four shocks can be adjusted for off-road driving, towing, street driving, or anywhere you desire. That’s all there is to it. No programming necessary. Just push the button and go! The consumer market has never been able to control their shock settings wirelessly. The myRIDE wireless remote control allows you to do just that.
All you have to do is select a factory preset, and if you like that setting, your’re done. There’s nothing more for you to do. The RS999705 takes care of the rest by constantly monitoring the pressure of all four shocks individually and making adjustments when needed.
If you don’t like the factory presets, then choose your own myRIDE setting. The myRIDE setting allows you to dial in any number you want. Once it’s locked in, your ride will stay that way until you change it again. Even when you shut your vehicle off and start up again, the RS999705 will always remember how your RS9000XL or quickLIFT shocks were set.
The presets are Rancho’s recommendation; myRIDE is how YOU want it!
The RS999705 remote is small enough to stow in the glove box or console. You can even clip it to the sun visor. It has no wires which makes for a simple and very clean installation and detailed instructions allow the system to be installed by anyone with some general hand-tool skills. Installation takes one to two hours and includes all necessary hardware to complete the installation as well as detailed instructions and a AAA battery for the remote.
The RS999705 myRIDE wireless remote works with any of the myRIDE family of shocks including the ever-popular RS9000XL, as well as quickLIFT and Pro Series.
