It can be exciting to have mates and family come and stay in your home. Whether they are visiting for days, a week or even months – the time can go by quickly for both host and guests if reasonable accommodations are made for the guest’s comfort and privacy.

Sometimes visitors and hosts feel drained by travel and a break in the routine, so it is important to make sure that, as host, you give your visitor some “down time” in a comfortable space of their own.

Even though homes are larger than ever, today, not everyone has space for a dedicated “guest room” with a bed. Many of us use all the space they have available for youngsters’s bedrooms, hobby/craft rooms, a little office or den, or perhaps just storage. When your visitors come, it can be difficult to establish where they can stay and be comfy. One idea is to have the kids double-up – they can “camp out” in each other’s rooms on an Aerobed mattress on the floor. Then, your visitors can sleep in a kid’s room on his bed.

This kind of agreement isn’t necessarily practical though – youngsters can feel displaced and guests can worry they are imposing.

Another good possibility is to pump up the Aero Bed premier classic air mattress and put it in a different room – like your home office, craft room, or media room. Ideally, your guests will have a devoted room where they can shut the door for privacy and quiet when they are sleeping. But if that’s not possible, you can put the bed out in the middle of the living room floor.

In fact, that is just what we had to do when my mother-in-law came to the city. Each night we’d pump up the Aerobed queen mattress in our great room on the main floor of our place, we put on the sheets and blankets, and wished her goodnight. That made doing the washing straightforward – so we would be able to keep her sheets fresh – and we didn’t have to make her employ a sleeping bag or buy special sheets just for the aerobed mattress.

In the mornings when my family would wake up, we might all go downstairs to pass some time with Mom. She would have awakened, and it was easy for her to let down the aerobed using the attached electrical pump, and roll it up and put away it in a corner of the living room for the day. There was not a massive mess or a bulky mattress to store. The family could re-claim our living room space simply since the aerobed premier classic was so fast to inflate, deflate and store.

You never know how it’s going to be when you have guests – frequently you wish they could stay forever, and regularly you’re feeling like they can not leave fast enough.

Well, regardless of how you are feeling about your company, it is often good to be in a position to have them enjoy their stay with you. A good night’s sleep will augment anybody’s experience staying over night in your home. An Aero Bed air mattress is just the way to ensure they get it!
