There are so many interesting things to see in Paris, it might be hard to start narrowing down the list. Compiled here is a list of some of the most popular tourist attractions of things to do in Paris.

The first thing you should probably consider doing is seeing a day tour of the city, since this can give you some more ideas of what would attract you personally. Besides, it’s a good idea to get a general grasp of how the city’s arranged before you begin moving about without anyone who actually knows Paris. I suggest that you stay in a hotel that you can pronounce the name of. This can really help set a good foundation for your stay in Paris.

The first, most obvious choice is the Eiffel Tower. Who wouldn’t love a view of the entire city of Paris?! The tower is open in the summer from 9:30AM until Midnight and during the winter from 10:00AM to 11:00PM every day of the week.

The Musee de Louvre is the largest national museum of France and the most visited museum of the entire world. There are over 35,000 pieces of artwork housed in this museum from prehistory to the nineteenth century.

For those interested in History, the Notre Dame Cathedral is another must-see attraction. Be warned that some locations within the cathedral do suffer from limited access. It is free of charge to tour this ancient relic.

Luxembourg Gardens is the largest public park in all of France. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking. There is something for everyone here with attractions for the kids as well that include a carousel, ponies, and puppet shows.

Paris Plage is the beach in Paris located on the Seine River. It is run by the city of Paris and each year new attractions are added. It is free to go to the beach but each individual attraction has its own admission price.
