You will find Antalya, Turkey right along the Mediterranean coast. It’s the capital of the Antalya Province and is considered a gorgeous place to take your next vacation. Whether it’s the beautiful view of the sea, the bold mountains, or serene cliffs, they all portray a masterpiece of the land. It doesn’t matter if you’re traveling to the area for business or pleasure, because there are plenty of facilities and activities for you to enjoy your stay.

Experiencing the Beaches:One of the first places you need to visit when you reach Antalya Turkey is the Mediterranean beaches. Lara beach is a great place to start, which you’ll find just east of the magnificent Lower Diden Waterfalls. You can relax, bathe in the sun, or take in a little surfing for that extra adventure.

Then of course if you need a little relaxation while taking in the culture, just take a stroll along the red-bricked sidewalk in Kararalioglu Park’s Lara Halk Plajı. You will find this to be one of the longest beaches along the Mediterranean. However, if you just want a golden tan, try your luck down in Lara Strand, which is east of the Club Hotel Sera.

Then again, you may want to take in as much scenery as possible, which we recommend the Konyaalti Beach for magnificent views. Whether it’s the white rocks, the soft sand, or just the appeal, you won’t be disappointed. The best way to enjoy this beach is by renting bikes and riding around the miles of land they have available here.

Then of course you can’t miss the International Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival if you travel to the area in June. This young even they now hold annually attracts sculptors from all around the world. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy the light show that brings out each exhibit.

Places to Stay:Antalya truly is the place to stay during your vacation. They specifically build their province to suit the needs of every individual on any type of budget. You can live lavishly in a five star hotel that’s situated right on the beach or just stay somewhere that is inexpensive in order to do more during your stay. The resorts are unbelievable, and Antalya resorts allow you to use live agents or web searching for your next trip.

Things to See:The history that revolves around Antalya portrays that of Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman times. Just viewing the area around the streets will show off different cultures.

Then of course if you enjoy the water we recommend visiting the Antalya harbor. If you thought the afternoon views were pure and appealing, just wait until the evening rolls around. Everything is different, yet still beautiful, which gives you 2 ways to remember Antalya. You’ll also be able to enjoy the evening cruises, the cafes, shops, and anything else your heart desires during your stay. There is so much to do you may not be able to see it all in one trip.

Weather and Climate:Antalya is protected from northern winds by the Toros Mountain range, and boasts about 300 sunny days every year. Summer temperatures may range as high as 100 degrees, but northeasterly winds as well as the sea breeze helps moderate the feeling of the temperature.
