3 Apr 2009The type of job determines whether you should use a tig welder or spot welder. For more complex and detailed work that requires a strong weld, a tig welder is the best choice. While the weld is stronger, it’s harder to do correctly, requiring more skill and experience. For welds where strength isn’t so much of a concern, a spot weld will work just as well, since it’s easier to perform and less expensive.
