A migraine is not a regular headache. A migraine is usually very harsh, with pain on only one side of the head. It is often accompanied by intense sensitivity to light and nausea and vomiting. Migraines are a persistent condition. Some people may have one several times a month, while a few may only have one or two a year.

And it isn’t just pain that most people feel, they also experience a host of other symptoms, such as nausea, tiredness, and a sudden sensitivity to noise, light, and even particular scents.
