Northern Italy contains over 300 lakes in which you can take lakes and mountains holidays in Italy. These lakes are typically all from the glaciers and can be found near and in the Italian Alps. A particular favorite with tourists is Lake Garda. This is the largest lake in Italy and is close to Milan and Venice.
