Ever since they invented the Internet, there have been those have been keep to exploit this wonderful resource for their own selfish ends. And unfortunately, some of those selfish ends come in the form of destruction. Destruction of our data, our hard work, and sometimes even our bank balance.

There was a world famous meeting held recently, chaired by experts from all areas of technology. A group that was interested in the evolution of technology in the past century paid for it, as they were interested in the best of the best inventions. Their goal was to try and mold public policy and public opinion in a direction that would be beneficial to everybody invovled.

If you took a survey of the most influential historians today to find out their opinion on the greatest invention in the history of humanity, they would likely agree that the Internet is high up on the list, if not number one. The Internet will likely go down in history as one of the true turning points in social interactions.

Nothing lasts forever and certainly not your electronics. This means that no matter advanced your computer is as compared to the others when you first bought it, it will inevitably start to show signs of aging.

In this modern age, computers have started a major role in our society. It is virtually impossible to not use one especially that they are everywhere. Schools have begun coupling learning with the use of computers. Our workspaces have been computerized in order to make our loads easier. Even when we want to have fun, we use computers.

One of the things most people hate the most when surfing online is when everything seems to come to a screeching halt or no apparent reason. You’ll be on your favorite video site, and suddenly the videos are taking forever to download. There are many things that can cause this, from a slow Internet connection to web site maintenance, but the reason is usually a computer virus of some sort.

It is generally agreed that the development of the Internet will have huge impact on humanity for several generations to come, and may have as big an impact on society as the agricultural revolution did several thousand years ago.

The advances in technology over the last several years have been fantastic. If you consider what was possible only a few years ago, you can’t help but to be completely amazed with the things that we are capable of doing today, especially when it comes to Internet technology.

One thing that is more fun than anything is buying something new. Something you’ve had your eye on for quite a while. Something that you can’t wait to take home and start using. Computers are particularly fun to buy, especially if you haven’t bought a new one in a year or so. They seem so clean, so responsive, and so fast. Compared to your old machine, you can surf the Internet at lightning speeds, and discover the entire Internet all over again.

Computers and the Internet are likely one of the greatest inventions in the history of mankind. And I’m not speaking figuratively, or metaphorically, I mean that history will show that the Internet will have a dramatic effect on how business is done, the distribution of labor, and international trade and commerce. So much so that thousands of years from now, this era will be known in the history books as the Information Age.
