Prior to the NLP, the therapy is not a process-oriented psychology Rogeria results, in general, a treatment outcome. It is the process of saying “I heard you say that you are angry,” this will obviously not lead to a result.

Using NLP we want to know the outcome. So the first point is to know your outcome. This can be as in a business plan with what you want to accomplish. The next point is to take action. This means you need to do something about your plan, not just make a plan. Given this you now need to have sensory acuity. This is the process of looking seeing and taking note of the world around you so that you can be aware to what you are achieving towards your outcome. Then by having the very best behavioural flexibility you are able to adapt to the environment around you to keep on the task of getting the outcome that you want.

After all that you just have to make sure you operate from a physiology and psychology of excellence. This means you think about what you want.

The principles of how do you create the right internal representation in your head are also very important. You need to understand the state vs. goals process. Sometimes people write goals that include state, for example so when I accomplish X I will be happy. The problem with this is the issue of happiness from an NLP point of view is that it is a state and since its a state we can have it immediately. To feel happy all you have to do is remember a time when you were happy. Heres the thing about writing a goal for a state. You probably feel pretty good right? So you put something in the future like in 6 months from now Ill be happy. The problem from an NLP point view is you could be happy right now, so value or a state is stated ambiguously.

Whereas a goal or outcome is usually stated specifically with a goal it definitely needs to be stated specifically. You can have a value or a state now and with a goal or outcome time is involved. Confidence and competence are different things. Time is involved in the process of getting a goal or outcome. For a value or state there are no steps needed to get there. One way for getting your goal is refining the final step and working backwards. A value or state is infinite or not really measurable Goal or outcome is measurable. Value or state can be stated for self and or/ others therefore goals or outcomes are generally stated for self only.

Fully consider the questions Im about to ask you. What is the goal you want to achieve from the end state? What is it you are looking for in terms of your own personal accomplishment? What will that goal look like? What will it sound like? What will it feel like? Be very specific.

So the way this all works together is if you are specific about your goals and your goals meet all the criteria that we just outlined, and that theyre specific enough that you can get an outcome. Let me talk a little bit about specifically stated specifically enough so that you know when youve got them.

Sometimes people write a goal of “I want to be happy” or “not a good idea, if it happened” or “not a good idea, even if it broke,” but said that the solution is not only breaking even not enough to pay existing debt, and why not make some money. Therefore, with a very important result.
