21 May 2009You can find any type of land to live on in our country. Whether you prefer forests, plains, mountains, or sandy deserts, America has the choice of it all. Through the course of my life, I have spent time living in all of these venues, but I will now tell you why Arizona would be my ideal place to live.
When I was a very small girl we lived there, but the memory of it isn’t as sharp as my older siblings. They have always told me stories about the fun we had there, to job my memory. Just hearing their stories would entice anyone to want find a home there.
My experience there was living in a small camper a short distance away from the Grand Canyon. Since our time there was only for the space of about 6 months, camping was our life. I remember that it was very adventurous and comfortable living in that condition with my family there.
The seemingly terrible summers of Arizona served us very well for those months of camping. Now an avid outdoor enthusiast, I look back to these experiences as the origin of my current enjoyment of such a life. Anyone looking for hiking, exploration, or warm campfires would be right at home in Arizona.
We have dinner around the campfire so often that we became quite the experts on grilling cuisine. I do vividly remember the dinners with my family and how good they were. But the best was after dinner, when it was time for s’mores! I have yet to find a child that can say they grew up having s’mores every night for dinner!
My father’s purpose there was business. He had become the vice president of a large construction company doing a job there. One night he came home, sad that he had fired a man on the site that day. So, later around the campfire making our s’mores, I accidentally put my marshmallow too close and it quickly caught fire. The recent events inspired me to yell, “Dad look! My marshmallow got fired!”
We found great accessibility in going to the Grand Canyon often. We also went to Flintstone land. Arizona definitely is not lacking in scenic splendors for any to visit and enjoy. These are the memories that I will never forget. I remember having a happy summer there.
We frequently attend the spectacular events hosted by the Native American cultures in the area at night. There were large fires being danced around by authentically dressed Native American hoop dancers. Even today I am mesmerized by the memory of the large headdresses and difficultly performed hoop maneuvers.
Arizona is a location in which I would live, simply so my children could look out the backyard and gaze eternally into the land reaching the horizon. I would want my children to also be filled with adventures and life and culture that I found there in Arizona. If you agree that Arizona would be a perfect location for your family to live, find the property you’ve always been waiting for today!
