16 Jul 2009There are so many reasons why water conditioning is a major thing that our homes need. You can save money in so many different ways by having it. You can also enjoy your water more knowing that it is clean and pure.
The first thing I noticed when I started using soft water is how gentle it was on my skin and hair. The first couple times I realized that I was using far too much shampoo and conditioner as well. I had no idea that with soft water you use less soap, shampoo and conditioner because it takes less to have the same effects as when you use hard water.
Hard water can ruin pipes and leave nasty residue. These build ups can damage as well as clog up your pipes. In the long run you can have more problems and spend more money on your piping that if you had been using soft water.
Hard water can actually ruin pipes and clog them. It leaves a hard residue that damages your pipes. If your not careful this can start costing more money than it’s worth.
These build ups do not just stop at your pipes, but can also affect your appliances. Research actually shows that by using soft water your appliances can clean and function better. So, soft water can actually prevent the harsh build ups that are caused by hard water.
Soft water cleans us better than hard water. Hard water has a reaction to soap, which is why the lather is never as full or bubbly with hard water. Soft water has no reaction and actually takes less soap, conditioner, and shampoo to get the job done than when you use hard water.
Among reactions to the soap, hard water dulls hair and is hard on the skin. For this reason your hair will always be shinier when you use soft water. You can also rest assured knowing that your shower is truly a clean and refreshing experience.
The only caution they give to soft water is for those who are to be on a low sodium diet because of the sodium levels in the soft water. Places like Salt Lake City, is known for it’s hard water.
