Every couple instates their own guidelines in what they see as cheating and being just good friends with a person. Where ever you draw the line on friendship and relationship is all based on your perception of things. Spouses are known to stray when they feel like they are not receiving as much as they are giving. Spouses normally look for others that will fill their sexual desires, provide them emotional support, and show them spontaneity. An affair can be broken into two separate categories, a physical affair as well as an emotional affair.

Physical affairs that result in sex can definitely be considered cheating on your spouse. This also includes any for of making out or inappropriate behavior that would not exist between friends. If you can’t talk about with your husband or another family member then you have been cheating.

An emotional affair is when your spouse turns to someone of the opposite sex for support. When your best friend that is of a different gender knows more about you then your spouse, this is a form of cheating. Your spouse and you should have a bond that is like no other, as a husband and wife you should be each others best friend as well as each others lover.

Thanks to the internet, our love life just got more complicated. Online dating and virtual chat rooms are the biggest worry. It depends on what your spouse is actually doing on the website – just chatting or exchanging photos? If they are continuously in contact with the person online through emails or chat rooms, this can be considered as cheating.

If you actual talk to the cheaters, they still love their partner. They would say that they are not getting enough from that relationship. So, the solution is to bring the passion back to your marriage and do stuff to keep the excitement in the marriage.
