It is calculated that approximately 10 million cases of food poisoning a year are recorded in the UK. Around 8 of 10 cases are bacteria and virus related brought about by pets, people, raw foods, and water. It should be noted that small]that minimal exposures to these bacteria and virus’ can be handled by our body’s immune system. It’s only when there is a great volume of bacteria and viruses that they become harmful. The harmful effect is all attributed to improper food handling, storage, cleaning or lack of, and poor hygiene practices in important places like the kitchen.

Gathering and having]Putting all tools and cleaning products ready is our initial step when cleaning the kitchen. Having our supplies already prepared in a carry-all bin will ease our job and spare us precious time from searching the house to locate these stuffs. The goal is to get in and out while achieving a good clean up in the process.

To increase productivity and fastness, come up with a cleaning scheme. Identify which areas you will start from and avoid backtracking or doing the task twice. I focus around the kitchen counter clockwise, cleaning everything wholly before moving to the next location.

When it comes to counter-tops, there are various agents available to you to use. The trouble is, not all counter-tops can use the same cleaning agents, and some may get dented because of improper cleaning item or procedure. It is suggested to initially verify with manufacturer recommendations on the appropriate agenst you can employ. In general an all-purpose cleaner will do just as good a job as a specialty cleaner and it’s one I often use myself.

The sink will often require at least two different cleaning agents: a multi purpose cleaner agents for wiping down faucets, and water release handles and a powder type cleaner for scrubbing down the sink. Always start at the rim of the sink, then move onto the faucets, and then concentrate on actual sink itself.

The last place when cleaning the kitchen, if working from top to bottom will be the kitchen’s floor. Before mopping your floor it’s advisable to perform a thorough sweep of the area to discard unnecessary debris that might be scattered around. After a thorough floor clean up it helps if you give a good scrub dwon using a mop or a sponge mop.
