Taking the family to see the big mouse this year? If you’re headed to the US capital of theme parks, you will need some Orlando airport transportation. Orlando is a great town and you’re guaranteed to have a blast with the family or special someone while you’re in town. It’s hard not to have fun in Orlando even if you’re on a business trip.

There are lots of different ways that you can get from the airport to your destination of choice. Most area hotels and resorts have shuttle van service but they don’t go beyond a five or ten mile radius beyond their property. The airport sits on the edge of town and is more than five or ten miles from practically all airports. There are a few hotels on the airport property but they are quite pricey and don’t put you near any of the area attractions.

You’ll also be paying a much higher rate than you may expect due to the nature of the city of Orlando being such a tourist attraction. Then you’ll have to worry about putting gas in the car and as a Floridian, I can tell you that gas is expensive in Orlando, no matter how much the rest of the world is paying per gallon, you’ll pay an arm and a leg for gas in Orlando.

If you want to arrive in style, you have two choices. You can rent either a limo or a town car to pick you up from the terminal. You’ll have someone waiting for you at baggage services that will assist you in retrieving your bags from the carousel and will carry them to your vehicle. You will arrive at your final destination in class. This is definitely the more expensive way to go but if you’ve got the money to do it, it really is nice to show up in town and have someone waiting on you hand and foot, right out of the gate.

Some of the services that are offered as Orlando airport transportation are limousine services. A limo is always a great way to go if you’ve got the money to rent one. In all honesty, renting a limo to pick you up and take you to your hotel or other destination in Orlando isn’t really that expensive.

The hotels in the area all have van service but unfortunately, most van service will only take you within five to ten miles of the hotel and usually, chances are good that your hotel will be outside of that radius. Plus you could be standing around for up to an hour for your hotel shuttle driver to show up. When you get to Orlando, you’ll be doing plenty of waiting in lines at theme parks; don’t start your journey on the wrong foot.

You can also pay a town car to come and pick you up to your final stop. A town car can be rented by the hour and just like renting a limo, a driver will appear in the baggage area to pick you up. Typically they hold up a sign with your last name or group name and wait for you to enter the claim area. They will then wait with you and assist you in retrieving your luggage and put it in the car for you. Again, if you can afford the service, it’s quite nice to arrive in style.

You can also rent limos and town cars to pick you up from your flight. They will have a driver waiting inside of the airport baggage area for you. They normally hold up a paper sign with your name on it so you look and feel important. These services are great but if you’re on a budget, trying going with a van or shuttle service when you need Orlando airport transportation.
