To keep your carpeting cleaner, we need to keep the dirt outside. Most soil that gets into your home comes from your shoes. I will give you some tips to help slow this down and keep your carpets cleaner.

Keeping a clean entryway will help keep your carpets clean. Lanscaping can really help keep dirt from entering the home. Cleaning your outdoor porches and patios will keep the dirt at bay. Entrance mats will capture alot of the soils before they can enter your home.

An indoor mat to wipe your feet is important too. Buy big enough mats so you can wipe both feet. You must wash these mats often. Buy a mat that you can easily launder yourself. A mat with a rubber backing will help it stay put on nearly any surface.

Wear a pair of indoor only slippers. You will get used of this idea when you imagine wear your shoes have been. Using a pair of house slippers will not only keep your house cleaner but it will cut down your need to vacuum as freqeuntly.

Cutting down the soils entering our home is pretty easy, doing so will provide your family with a cleaner living environment. By implementing some of the above ideas, your home is going to be cleaner and have less allergens.
