1 Mar 2009Evercleanse is a colon cleansing product with big claims that has become rather popular as of late. Is Evercleanse as ‘clean’ as it first appears to be? Is it effective? This review of Evercleanse will give those answers and maybe shed some light on things you may not have otherwise found.
The Evercleanse systems consists of a 3 step process: The Clean Sweep (breaks down waste in colon), Replenish (gets rid of bad bacteria and provides the colon with good pathogens), and Colon Support and Maintenance (a colon support formula). The ingredient profile in Evercleanse is fiber rich and should do the job as expected.
When reviewing colon cleanse products, I always try to spend a considerable amount of time researching the company behind the product. Often I’ll find some pretty scary things about the company even when the product looks pretty good. How does Evercleanse do in these regards? The only marketing complaint I have is the use of testimonials that totally unverifiable. Granted, most testimonials aren’t very verifiable, but Evercleanse doesn’t provide any information such as names, locations, etc. Testimonials are easily created by anyone, so I don’t put much weight on them.
The fulfillment company associated with Evercleanse, 3PL Worldwide Inc, also received an ‘F’ grade by the Better Business Bureau. Now, it’s difficult to say how close the two companies are, but it’s still something that’s worth noting.
Evercleanse provides no money back guarantee on their product. This is always a red flag. We like to see guarantees at least longer than 30 days. Another red flag for Evercleanse that I found is their weak privacy policy. If you dig deap enough you’ll find that they may be selling your email address to other companies whose products they think you ‘might find interesting.’ In order to not have your email shared, you have to actually opt out by visiiting a separate site. In today’s world, this just isn’t acceptable.
As far as cost goes, Evercleanse is about average. It will cost you close to $60 for a 2 week supply and about $100 for a 6 week supply.
In conclusion, the Evercleanse product itself gets an ok review. The company behind the product, however, makes it look as though there may be some reason for caution. The decision is ultimately yours, but just make sure that you do your homework before passing over your hard earned money.
