Crest Whitestrips are great teeth whitening products. They all work the same way, and they come in many different forms. The strips contain hydrogen peroxide, which is the very effective bleaching agent found in many teeth whitening products.

Traditionally, teeth whitening products contained abrasive particles that were designed to “scrub” or “sand” the teeth. Crest Whitestrips work exceptionally well for teeth whitening products. They come in both over-the-counter and non-over-the-counter varieties, and there are different strengths of each. They contain anywhere from six percent hydrogen peroxide to fourteen percent.

Crest Whitestrips, however, are not perfect. Since they are stuck to the front of the teeth, they can leave one with a “zebra” effect; it does not get into the grooves between teeth. Also, the adhesive material is rather weak, so the user can experience the strips sliding off the teeth, and also he or she cannot eat, smoke, or drink while the strips are on. Crest Whitestrips are easy to place on the teeth, and their location is easy to control; users can therefore avoid touching the gums which will avoid burning. Despite their flaws, Crest Whitestrips are among the best teeth whitening products available.
