For most of us a close loving relationships with someone is essential. It’s one of those intangible assets that no one can really put a price tag on. It’s no wonder that internet dating has grown the way it has over the past two decades! A long distance relationship is not something that most people give much thought to. However, when dating it’s important to be open to all kinds of possibilities. It could be that something new is what’s needed to allow you to find what you have been looking for. There’s no doubt that long distance dating is challenging, but it can also be a lot of fun.

Long distance dating means that you and your partner will not always be able to attend events that are important to each partner. Spur of the moment dates will likely be a thing of the past. But there is an upside to long distance dating;

1. You’ll be able to get to know someone without the relationship becoming physical. Oftentimes sleeping with someone too quickly derails a more traditional relationship.

2. You can go out with your friends when you like. In a new relationship you’re usually with your partner most of the time. Not having them around all day, every day, gives you balance while adding a special someone into the mix.

3. You have the opportunity to get away from the norm every now and then. If they live in a place you have always wanted to visit, you get to experience something new.

4. If you ever decide to move, you now have a new option to consider.

5. Okay, I have two words for you; Phone Sex. If you’ve already tried this then you know it’s an exciting way to keep a relationship sparking.

6. Your relationship stays fresh. Missing someone can help keep the excitement alive. Less time to fight. Since you see one another less often, you wont waste time fighting about trivial matters.

Although it might not be the preference of many, the long distance love connection can be a great thing, but it is completely up to the two people. It can be an exciting adventure into the unknown and something wonderful and long lasting.
