Going through a breakup is a very agonizing occurrence but you can find out how to prevent a breakup.

We have all been through a breakup and we know how heartbreaking they are. We also seem to look back at the relationship once over and seem to see the signs had been there all along that were heading us toward the breakup. Now if you remember the signs and keep them in mind, you will be able to prevent a breakup in your current relationship.

Not only that but if you know what went wrong, it can additionally help you get back together with an ex after a breakup.

A definite sign of a coming breakup is the lack of physical contact. That does not have to stand for just sex. Knowing that if you or your partner are no longer showing an interest in sex, odds are a breakup in pending. It’s natural for your relationship to have different spikes where you may have sex all the time and then none at all for a while.

On the other side of things though, is that if your partner no longer wants to hold your hand or just snuggle for a minute or two, a breakup is probably on the horizon. If it’s normal for your partner to put their arm around you when taking a walk or at the movies but they suddenly just stop doing that, you can bet something is going amiss.

Abrupt changes in behavior, such as not touching you or holding your hand the way they used to, are a certain sign that there are problems in the relationship.

Another sign is when your partner in fact becomes physically uncomfortable when you try to touch them. When that starts to happen, you will want to talk to your partner to find out what is happening. This doesn’t automatically mean that they are about to break up with you because there are many reasons why someone may just not feel like being touched at certain times but you will want to understand why and what is going on.

It could just be that you shocked them or maybe the only time you do touch them is when you want to be intimate and your partner is just not in the frame of mind to have sex or get intimate at that precise moment. Pulling away from you is just a way to let you know that they are choosing to say no right now but that does not mean you are about to go through a breakup.

There are times when someone just doesn’t feel well and doesn’t want to be physical in any way. A change in your partner’s behavior doesn’t have to be a sign of a breakup coming or even that there is anything wrong in your relationship. Paying attention to understand what brings on certain behaviors and if they are just going to be an occasional thing or if it’s just the way your partner acts all the time for the reason that that is who they are will help you understand what is going on.

If your partner starts to lie to you, even if they seem like minimal, harmless lies, can be a sign that there are problems also. Why even tell a lie if it’s just something simple and harmless? Little lies can become bigger and more harmful lies. Still, if you catch your partner in one little lie it is not a definite sign of a breakup since after all everyone lies about things like surprise parties or special occasions once in a while.

Just be aware of how your partner is feeling and if you think there is a problem, talk to them before it gets to far because that is how to prevent a breakup. Listen to what your partner is saying and try to understand how they are feeling and you can make your relationship last forever if you actually want to.
