Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: A typical venture spectacle has Ford in fine form and Connery providing extra panache as Indy’s archaeologist dad, whose bizarre disappearance (when looking for the Holy Grail) sets the tale in motion. This intentionally old fashioned Saturday matinee has everything money can buy, however on no account seriously creates a sense of marvel and enthusiasm. A certain advancement over the second Indiana Jones episode it still bears the mark of one too many (as is the case in most sequels) . Night Nurse: A phenomenal, hard story of nurse (Stanwyck) who couldn?t disregard bizarre goings on in home where she works. Blondell adds zingy aid and it is one of Gable’s most impressive early appearances. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, Ben Lyon, Joan Blondell, Clark Gable, Charlotte Merriam, and Charles Winninger.

Cry Terror: This quick moving film hides the implausibility of the caper of psychopath Steiger pushing Mason to help him in master extortion plot that was filmed on N.Y.C. locations. Cast includes James Mason, Rod Steiger, Inger Stevens, Neville Label, Angie Dickinson, and Jack Klugman. (96 minutes, 1958)
